Jasmine

Chinese tea scented with jasmine blossom — not artificially flavoured: a green-tea base is layered with freshly opened jasmine and absorbs its perfume (窨制 yìnzhì), and the more scenting rounds, the higher the grade. It comes as hand-rolled pearls (Mòlì lóngzhū) and loose leaf (Mòlì piāoxuě). The result is a clean floral aroma over a fresh, green cup that never turns cloying.
